The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Simplified GHG Emissions Calculator (previously available on the EPA’s website) is no longer publicly accessible as of February 2025. But this straightforward tool remains one of the most accessible ways to learn how to estimate Scope 1, Scope 2, and select Scope 3 emissions for US-based operations.
